Earth Exploration Hall

It is a wonderful exhibition on Earth and has been open for the people since 6^th December 2008. There is a big Globe located at the center of the hall. The exhibition accommodates two storied hemispherical buildings which exhibit the details of the southern hemisphere in the ground floor and northern hemisphere in the first floor of the Science City Kolkata.

The globe is divided into 12 longitudinal segments each telling about the individual geography, land, flora, fauna. Modern technologies such as panoramic videos, 3D effects, polaroid spectacles have been used for visitors’ engagement.

Space Odyssey

Space Odyssey is one of the great attractions of Science City Kolkata. It consists of a space theater, Planetarium, 3D theater, spinning platform and magic mirrors based on reflection of light for the attraction of people. It also has a 30-seater time machine which provides virtual experience of space flight and journey to the unknown world.

Dynamotion Hall

It is an amazing spiral shaped building where one can create music, walk on the floor piano, move a floating ball, etc. It also showcases a world of illusion, change in visual perception by playing with time and motion.

It is 5400 square meters building within Science City Kolkata with latest infrastructure and opened in 2016. It has 4 sections – Emerging Technologies gallery, Science and Technology Heritage of India, Evolution of Life – A Dark Ride, Panorama on Human Evolution (360-Degree projection) which help in educating people with enjoyment about technologies, human evolution, Indian heritage.
